Buying a yacht is a big decision. There’s a lot of money at stake, your safety depends on it, and so do your dreams. AI is useful in plenty of areas, but when it comes to advice like ours, we believe real experience counts for more than generated answers.

So whenever you deal with us, you’re dealing with a person, whether you’re getting advice or just asking a question. The knowledge we share isn’t generated by AI. It comes from our own experience, specialist literature, conversations with experts and our own testing. Everything we publish, whether on our websites, in our videos or in the advice we give you, is our own work and we stand behind it.

If we ever use content that has been created or substantially altered by AI, we’ll label it clearly, in line with the EU’s guidance on labelling AI-generated content.

One small request in return: please write to us in your own words, however rough they may sound. We’d much rather read an imperfect, genuine message than a polished one written by AI. To help you properly, we need to know what you think, want and worry about, as you’d put it yourself and not as an AI has tidied it up. The same goes for research. We’re far more interested in the questions and needs you bring to us than in an AI verdict such as ‘Boat X is much better’.
