The search for the ideal yacht for you begins with us getting to know each other. In a half-day workshop, we discuss what you want to do with your boat, your requirements and preferences. Monohull or catamaran; steel, aluminum or GRP; how large, how expensive, how many masts, what kind of equipment… Your personal circumstances, your preferences, the planned trips, the usual crew size and composition and also factors such as your physical conditions (size, strength) are taken into account. We then recommend around ten boat advertisements that match your requirements, including strengths and potential weaknesses of the boats. In the written report you receive from us, we may also recommend boat types that might suit you but are not currently on the market, but which we expect to come on the market regularly.

Following the workshop, we will support you on an hourly or daily rate basis, depending on your needs. We are happy to accompany you on viewings, assess the general condition of yachts and estimate the costs of upcoming repairs and upgrades. We’re there to help you avoid the typical pitfalls during viewings and negotiations. We formulate the right questions for the broker or seller, check the yacht’s paperwork, take over the entire negotiations with the seller if necessary and organize a certified surveyor.

Have you already found the right boat and want to make sure you’re not looking at it through “rose-coloured glasses”? As your sparring partner, we assess the yacht objectively and without emotion, both in advance on the basis of the advertisement and during the viewing on site. But beware: we can assess the boat in principle, but without knowing you and your needs, we cannot say whether the boat suits you – that’s what the workshop is for.

You already own a boat, but would like to take it on a long voyage in the future? We are here to advise you. We’ll tell you what you still need for a circumnavigation: from choosing the right antifouling to upgrading the electrics for self-sufficient travel. We are also happy to visit you on board and go through everything on site.
