Hello, I'm Marie.

I have many years of experience with a wide variety of boat types and sailing areas. With empathy, I put myself in your shoes, recognize your needs well and question them together with you so that we can find a boat that meets your requirements. I have worked as a yacht broker in the past and am experienced in negotiations and contracts. My repertoire also includes technical know-how in boat matters as well as a well-developed network of excellent professionals who I can call on if necessary to provide you with excellent support when buying a boat and afterwards. I was born in Cologne in 1987 and have been sailing since I was a child. After completing my doctorate in economics, it was time for a one-year break on the water with a Malö 106, which took me safely from the North Sea across the Atlantic, through the Caribbean and into Cheasapeake Bay. Since then, my goal has been to pass on my passion for sailing and my knowledge to as many people as possible. In addition to helping people buy yachts, I do this by offering various technical courses and through my YouTube channel “MARIETIM”, the largest German-language technical sailing channel.
